Review three different protection systems
Extinguishers, alarms and emergency lighting have connected purposes, but they need different inspection and testing methods. We carry out fire safety checks at premises in Romford, travelling from our Bexleyheath base with the equipment required for the agreed work. Extinguishers support an initial response, the alarm warns people of danger and emergency lighting helps occupants use escape routes when normal power is lost. Before attendance, we ask you to identify system types, equipment quantities and previous service dates so each discipline can be scoped separately.

Prepare restricted areas before the visit
We need access to extinguisher locations, alarm control equipment and relevant devices, plus emergency lighting fittings and test points. If parts of your Romford site are locked, occupied or security controlled, tell us in advance and arrange a responsible contact. We inspect extinguishers to BS 5306, maintain commercial alarms with reference to BS 5839-1 and test emergency lighting to BS 5266. Our reports keep the findings separate, helping you see which equipment needs follow-up and which maintenance date applies next.
Frequently asked questions
What system information should we send first?
Provide alarm details, extinguisher quantities and types, emergency lighting information and the latest service dates. Plans or asset records can also help. Tell us about known faults so we can consider them when agreeing the scope.
Can all three systems be checked in one booking?
We can review the three requirements together and organise the work according to site size, access and equipment quantities. Some tasks follow different intervals and methods, so we confirm the practical schedule after assessing your information.
How should we prepare restricted areas?
Identify locked rooms, tenant areas and security-controlled spaces containing relevant equipment. Arrange keys, escorts or permissions for the agreed time. If access isn't available, we may be unable to complete checks in those locations.
